Dream big, get funding and give your students an inspirational learning experience.

Teachers Dream is an opportunity to make your dreams for your learners come true. We help you create Dream Lessons based on experiential learning and get funding for them.

"As a school we would like to say to you and Teachers Dream Keep up the good work that you are doing."- Vuyani Public Primary School

Any South African educator (Grade R-12) who is registered with the South African Council for Educators and is actively teaching outcomes-based education can apply. Dream Lessons must be linked to particular Learning Outcomes and cost between R100 and R5,000.

This is how it works:

Dream

  • Talk to colleagues and get ideas for your Dream Lesson
  • Fill in the Dreaming Form
Plan
  • Work out how your Dream will achieve particular Learning Outcomes
  • Get quotes and work out how much the Dream Lesson will cost
  • Fill in and submit your Application Form online or download it and email, post or fax it to us
Do

  • Tell us when you plan to do it
  • Get your school principal to sign the Contract Form
  • Get permission forms signed and send the contract and forms to us
  • Carry out your Dream Lesson
  • Take photos with the camera we provide and keep notes
Tell
  • Fill in the Reportback Form to tell us how it went
  • Get the photos developed if you want to or send us the camera
  • Ask your learners to write thank you letters
  • Send us the letters, photos or camera and completed Reportback Form within 2 weeks and we will post your report on this website for donors to view.
